Who is eligible to apply?
Single startups or SMEs, or small consortia of them, established in the 27 EU Member States (including their outermost regions) or in Horizon Europe–associated countries as defined in the European Commission’s updated list. Solutions should typically be at TRL 4–5 and aiming for market readiness.
What support does the programme offer?
Access to tailored mentoring and an innovation voucher worth up to €10,000 for services like training and market insights. Note: This is not direct financial support.
What are the key dates for Open Call 2?
Applications are open from October 2nd, 2025, to December 20, 2025.

For Mentors
Who can be a mentor?
Experts in their field from business, sustainability, EU regulations, market strategies, or algae technologies.
What is the timeline?
Applications close on December 2025. Matchmaking follows, and the programme is divided into three 2-month sprints.
What does mentoring involve?
- At least 24 hours of contact over six months.
- Supporting startups with strategy, testing, and market readiness.
- Achieving goals defined in a mentoring plan.
Is mentoring paid?
Yes, mentors receive a €10,000 compensation paid by the programme coordinator.
