Wrapping up the first year of AlgaeProBanos- Partner meeting in Copenhagen

Last week, the partners of AlgaeProBanos convened for an engaging and fruitful two-day session at the Eurofish International Headquarters in Copenhagen. We had a great turnout, with over 60 participants from our various partner organisations.

Over the course of these two days, we delved into the progress of our project's first year, discussing upcoming deliverables and milestones. We exchanged valuable insights and witnessed exciting developments, particularly regarding our digital tools, which we are eager to unveil soon. We were fortunate to also receive insights and progress updates from our sister projects, Locality Seamark and EU4ALGAE

Following a busy Wednesday, we relaxed in the evening at Copenhagen's De Ny Theater, enjoying dinner and music in a delightful atmosphere.

On Thursday, we delved further into the requirements of our ongoing work and gathered valuable feedback on various work packages and their deliverables. To say we were excited would be an understatement!

The day concluded on a high note with a field trip to our pilot project Algiecel facilities near Copenhagen. Here, we gained firsthand knowledge of the challenges and advancements of their work and new technologies being integrated into production of sustainable, low-carbon natural ingredients for use in feed, food, and cosmetics.
